Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax laws and regulations, with experience in preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax audits, and resolving tax issues.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file all required tax returns for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide expert tax advice to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues, providing clear and concise reports and recommendations.
  • Assist with tax planning and strategy, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency.
  • Review and reconcile tax accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist with tax audits and inquiries, providing necessary documentation and information, and managing the resolution process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a tax management role, preferably within the real estate development/construction industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in preparing and filing tax returns, managing tax audits, and resolving tax issues.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise tax advice to management.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
