Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential speech and language services to a caseload of 35 students across elementary and middle school levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Support the SLP in conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans.
  • Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
  • Document services and progress in ECATS and Medicaid systems.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
  • Ensure all services comply with school and state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant licensure and credentials.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using ECATS (Education Case Management System) and familiarity with Medicaid documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
