This Nutritional Services Assistant role offers competitive compensation based on your experience. Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares patient meal trays according to specified instructions and dietary orders.

2. Assists in the preparation and portioning of food items in accordance with the menu and dietary guidelines.

3. Utilizes proper food handling practices during food preparation, tray setup, and serving.

4. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains dishes, utensils, and flatware used in patient service.

5. Aids in upholding cleanliness in the dishwashing area.

6. Cleans workstations and equipment as directed.

7. Stocks food storage areas and refrigerators as assigned.

8. Delivers meals, snacks, and supplies to nursing units and other designated areas as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge and education to fulfill job responsibilities.

2. Previous experience in a Dietary Department, particularly in large-scale food preparation and service, is preferred.

3. Strong communication skills to interact effectively and compassionately with colleagues, residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.

4. No record of resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.

5. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with adequate communication skills to perform required tasks.
