Key Responsibilities:
- Directing project teams composed of local ACE engineering professionals.
- Collaborating with Project Managers and ACE leadership to evaluate project progress and customer satisfaction while mentoring junior engineers.
- Designing, developing, and documenting systems tailored to meet client specifications.
- Assessing existing operational technology networks and computing systems, offering risk-based improvement recommendations.
- Engaging with clients both in-office and on-site to present solutions and gather unique insights.
- Implementing operational technology network and cybersecurity strategies to protect critical devices.
- Participating in knowledge exchange with fellow ACE engineers to enhance project methodologies.
- Traveling to client locations to execute and validate project deliverables.
The ideal candidate will find opportunities for growth within ACE's leadership structure. We emphasize professional development across all organizational levels, with pathways leading to roles in technical leadership, project management, sales, and engineering management.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of ten years' experience with control systems in manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and MES technologies.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects to completion.
- Ability to manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex control and cybersecurity concepts.
- Familiarity with process control and manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of business application software, particularly the MS Office suite.
- Exhibits a positive and professional attitude.
- Demonstrates flexibility and a collaborative working style.
- Willingness to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Compliance with drug testing and background checks as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
- Certifications from Industry Technology Partners.
- Manufacturing cybersecurity certifications such as GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert are advantageous.
