Job Summary

The Physician HTPN is a highly skilled medical professional responsible for examining and treating patients with a wide range of conditions. This role involves taking patient histories, requesting diagnostic tests, making diagnoses, prescribing treatment, administering vaccinations, and performing follow-up examinations. The Physician HTPN will also educate patients in disease prevention and health maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination and Diagnosis: Examine patients, collect and record medical information, and make diagnoses based on examination results and diagnostic tests.
  • Treatment and Care: Prescribe treatment, administer vaccinations, and provide follow-up examinations to patients.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the clinical activities of allied health professionals and advanced practice professionals.
Specialty

The Physician HTPN will diagnose and treat conditions in their area of specialty. This may involve working in a hospital, specialty clinic, or outpatient surgical center. The Physician HTPN may also perform surgical procedures, treatment, or non-invasive procedures in their area of specialty.
