MRI Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures with minimal supervision, utilizing independent judgment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Review patient orders to assess the correctness of examinations requested and identify any special needs or conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff, providing clear instructions and education as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and examination rooms.
- Assist patients and visitors, providing a positive and welcoming experience.
- Graduation from an accredited MRI program or ARRT (MR) credentials.
- Successful completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) boards, with (MR) specialty designator within 1 year after completion of accredited training program, and maintaining ARRT (MR) Certification and continuing education requirements thereafter.
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification.
