Job Overview

At Gunton Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and interpret financial summaries and provide reports to managers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
* Verify and post details about business transactions, such as bookings, funds received and disbursed, and total accounts to ledgers and databases
* Prepare consolidated internal financial statements by analyzing information from the general ledger system
* Review and balance internal accounts, analyze variances, prepare reports, and monitor depreciable assets using financial software

Requirements:

* Natural proficiency with Excel
* Knowledge of basic financial and accounting principles
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Maintain professional conduct, attitude, and appearance at all times

Preferred skills and qualifications:

* One or two years of experience in clerical accounting
