Job Overview

Position: Technology Finance Analyst

Compensation Range: $46.80/hr

Role Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Technology Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. This position requires close collaboration with various departments, including Technology Finance, Financial Operations, and Product Management, to assist in the closing and forecasting of diverse technology expenditures, such as Professional Services, Software, and Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models to project and analyze technology-related costs.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Aid in the formulation of the Annual Operating Plan and current year projections.
  • Financial Monitoring: Oversee invoice tracking and contractual commitments, reconcile general ledger entries, and manage accruals and reclassifications during the monthly financial closing process. Collaborate with the Accounting team to finalize Profit and Loss statements.
  • Reporting: Generate ad-hoc reports, manage special projects, and create presentations for various internal stakeholders across Technology and Finance sectors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in consulting, financial services, or corporate finance roles.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and project management capabilities.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Learning Agility: Quick to grasp new concepts and adept at navigating various systems/databases.
  • Intellectual Curiosity: A desire to understand the business beyond daily tasks.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or public accounting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with teams outside of Finance and Accounting.
  • Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP, Cognos TM1, Hyperion, or other enterprise financial systems.

Compensation Details: $43.00 to $46.80 per hour
