Technology Investment Banking Analyst

Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a highly skilled Analyst to join their Technology Investment Banking team in the US. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including startups, mid-sized companies, and large corporations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support M&A transactions, identifying potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunities.
- Perform industry research and market analysis to stay ahead of the competition and identify emerging trends.
- Develop and execute comprehensive pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials for client meetings, showcasing expertise and building strong relationships.
- Collaborate with senior bankers to develop and execute transaction strategies, driving business growth and success.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the technology sector, providing valuable insights to clients.
- Maintain and update databases of industry contacts, transaction precedents, and market data, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Support the execution of live transactions, coordinating with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with an MBA or CFA designation a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably with a focus on technology M&A.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
