Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our inpatient units. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work collaboratively with physicians and registered nurses to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and implement physician orders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in Onboarding and Mentoring: Assist in the onboarding and mentoring of new clinical staff members.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
  • Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Work Experience: 1+ years of healthcare experience and 1+ years of licensed practical nurse experience.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and may involve exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.
