Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and implement physician orders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Participate in Onboarding and Mentoring: Assist in the onboarding and mentoring of new clinical staff members.
- Education: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
- Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Work Experience: 1+ years of healthcare experience and 1+ years of licensed practical nurse experience.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and may involve exposure to radiation and frequent exposure to contaminated needles and infectious body substances.
