Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a MICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IV lines and administering blood transfusions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
  • Current ACLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
