Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Tax Returns
- Prepare tax returns for individual, corporate, S-Corp, LLC/LLP partnership, and non-profit entities.
- Prepare estate and trust tax returns as needed.
- Client Advisory Services
- Advise clients on tax-related matters, including tax planning and compliance.
- Provide guidance on financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Financial Statement Preparation
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform financial statement analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Payroll and Sales Tax Preparation
- Prepare quarterly payroll and sales tax returns.
- QuickBooks Bank Reconciliation
- Perform QuickBooks bank account reconciliations.
- Client Communication
- Communicate with clients on tax-related matters and provide timely responses to their inquiries.
- Education and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or tax preparation.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Lacerte tax software.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
