Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
  • Participate in inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting discrepancies to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including new products, promotions, and sales.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Kroger's products and services.
