Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at L3Harris. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect products and their associated documents in accordance with L3Harris Workmanship Standards, engineering requirements, customer specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, and other requirements as needed.
- Ensure that products and services conform to established company standards and customer requirements.
- Recommend opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and products.
- Understand and apply the elements of corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis.
- Provide training and mentor new inspectors and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Work independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may act as a facilitator and coordinate work efforts as directed by leadership.
- Provide feedback on Inspection Control Plans for Manufacturing Engineers worked in the area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of prior related experience in a quality-related discipline or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Good written and oral communication skills and experience working in a team environment to solve problems and balance workloads.
- Experience with electronics workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.
- Experience in Aerospace manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, and/or electronic assemblies.
