Youth Justice Residential Therapist

Eliot Community Human Services is in search of a licensed and eligible Therapist with a background in addressing the clinical needs of children and adolescents.
Our ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
Eliot's juvenile justice initiatives encompass a residential framework for youth aged 13 to 21 who are involved with the court system and require placement while awaiting court proceedings, assessment, or longer-term therapeutic intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions weekly in accordance with DYS, DEEC, and ECHS policies and procedures.
• Collaborate in the development and execution of Individual Service Plans.
• Offer case management and advocacy for youth as necessary.
• Lead curriculum-based treatment groups focusing on DBT, substance abuse, and risk reduction.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Compensation:
MA degree: $55,000;
LICSW or
LMHC: $60,000
In this role, you will benefit from ongoing professional development through engagement and collaboration, training opportunities, and consistent weekly reflective supervision.

Required Education:
• MA or higher in Mental Health Counseling.
• MA or higher in Social Work.
