About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Truck Driver to join our team at BrightView. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients by safely operating commercial-grade landscaping equipment and ensuring the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Landscape Trucks for the day, including loading gas cans, mowers, and other equipment, securing all equipment, and maintaining and correctly using issued personal protective equipment.
  • Safely operate vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and perform maintenance on industrial, commercial, or public properties, including mowing turf, edging grass, blowing leaves and clippings, pruning shrubs and trees, and pulling weeds.
  • Perform plantings and flower installation, including preparing soil, planting material, applying mulch, and watering.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment, including unloading equipment, washing equipment and trucks, changing equipment blades and oil, cleaning air filters, and greasing machines.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Some experience in lawncare helpful
  • Ability to operate various lawn care machinery, including mowers, edgers, and backpack blowers
  • Ability to operate various vehicles, with or without trailers
  • Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit and direct sunlight for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying work hours and noise levels
