Job Title: Medical Assistant or LPN

Integris Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team in Northwest Oklahoma City, OK. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant or LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including taking vitals, patient history, and performing lab and x-ray procedures. You will also be responsible for gathering and documenting patient information, contributing to the assessment and re-assessment of patients, and participating in the development of the plan of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including taking vitals, patient history, and performing lab and x-ray procedures.
  • Gather and document patient information, including lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status, and potential complications.
  • Contribute to the assessment and re-assessment of patients.
  • Participate in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient status.
  • Report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate any new orders as directed.
Requirements:
  • Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration, or 6 months of Clinic MA experience, or the ability to successfully complete the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
  • 6 months customer service experience preferred.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written).

The Medical Assistant or LPN will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing patient care and supporting our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
