Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for collecting laboratory specimens and performing all phases of laboratory testing.

Responsibilities:

* Collect laboratory specimens and perform all phases of laboratory testing
* Maintain awareness and comply with regulatory requirements, safety regulations, and ethical standards of practice
* Maintain laboratory instrumentation and supplies as necessary
* Perform other laboratory duties as requested

Requirements:

* Must meet CLIA criteria for high complexity laboratory testing personnel during entire tenure
* Preferred candidate will be a graduate of Medical Laboratory Technician program with an AS in Medical Technology
* Have and maintain good standing in a national registry ASCP or equivalent as a Medical Laboratory Technician
* Three years of Hospital laboratory experience preferred
* Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
* Satisfactory interview, references, drug screen, and background check
* Demonstrates competency in all necessary laboratory functions
* Maintain drug-free status through entire tenure
