Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of reconciliations for various accounts, including bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of the General Ledger.
2. Assist in reviewing and analyzing both revenue and expense accounts.
3. Prepare journal entries on a daily and monthly basis.
4. Compile daily reports for the assessment of General Ledger account setups and maintenance.
5. Support the preparation of schedules for the annual budgeting process.
6. Aid in the month-end closing procedures.
7. Provide comprehensive support to the Accounting Department and other divisions as required.
8. Collaborate with accounting management on special projects as necessary.
9. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
10. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory. Experience in banking or financial institutions is advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in using personal computers and relevant software applications.
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
- Capable of organizing workflow and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet programs and personal computing.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000, with eligibility for overtime for hours exceeding 40 per week. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and other permissible factors.

Work Schedule:
This position is classified as non-exempt.
