Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Drama and Theatre Arts Educator to join our team at Mobile County Public School System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, produce, and direct theatrical productions and plays in accordance with school schedules and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Fine Arts teachers to develop and implement curriculum and programs.
  • Establish clear objectives, plans, and assessments for learning experiences.
  • Implement a variety of instructional techniques to meet learning objectives and promote student engagement.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment by establishing and enforcing standards of student behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community groups to promote student success.
  • Evaluate student progress and program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
