Key Responsibilities- Initial Patient Screening: Conduct thorough clinical screenings with new patients to review their medical history prior to receiving their first infusion.
- IV Infusion and Injection Administration: Supervise and administer IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses, ensuring compliance with professional practice and clinical standards.
- Medication Preparation and Education: Assist in the preparation of biologics and educate patients about the risks, side effects, and benefits of medication.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Discuss the plan of care between ordering providers and our infusion center, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.
- Communication and Documentation: Communicate with referring providers regarding patient eligibility and request necessary documents, and review and finalize patient charts at the end of each shift.
- Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of infusion experience in specialty infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills, and emergency patient care.
- Certifications and Licenses: Current NP license in good standing, CRNI preferred, and IGCN desirable.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in emergency situations.
- Competitive Compensation: Hourly pay range of $60-$70, with opportunities for annual cash bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
- Travel Opportunities: Up to 40% travel requirement, with mileage and other expenses reimbursed.
