Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a temporary basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all required diagnostic procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high-quality results.
  • Screen patients before exams for any contraindications or precautionary measures.
  • Obtain and review requisitions for examinations to obtain information such as doctor's orders, patient history, and any other special requirements.
  • Thoroughly explain procedures and answer patient questions to alleviate anxiety and facilitate cooperation.
  • Monitor patient conditions and assist radiologists in performing medical attention as needed.
  • Maintain diagnostic equipment by cleaning, disinfecting, and handling with care.
  • Prepare examinations for interpretation by radiologists, including correct identification and processing of films, clinical history, and previous exams for comparison.
  • Recognize allergic reactions and respond in accordance with procedures for emergent patient care.
  • Practice and maintain standard precautions and infection control policy standards.
  • Assist with patient scheduling and preparation prior to examinations.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • ARRT certification.
  • CPR certification.
  • Applicable state license.
  • CT Tech registry included on ARRT.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MD license.
Work Schedule

No weekend or on-call requirements.
