Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Anchorage office. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player with 5+ years of engineering experience in vertical construction, alternative energy, or electric utility sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning level and detailed engineering for a variety of projects, including energy modeling, electrical system modeling, and renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support multi-faceted, multi-discipline projects in the electric utility, industrial, government, and private commercial sectors
  • Perform engineering calculations, develop engineering designs, and write technical reports
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers, operators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Engineer in Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
  • Registration as P.E. is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design in the AEC industry
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with the National Electrical Code
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and construction practices
  • Past experience with a multi-discipline engineering/consulting firm or construction firm
