This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Firefighter - Entry-Level. As a member of our fire department, you will be responsible for performing emergency and non-emergency tasks in the areas of fire suppression, hazardous materials, technical rescue, water rescue, fire prevention, emergency or disaster preparedness, and emergency medical services.

You will work closely with our experienced firefighters and emergency medical technicians to respond to a wide range of emergencies, from fires and medical calls to hazardous materials incidents and technical rescues. You will also participate in training and education programs to develop your skills and knowledge in these areas.

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Age 21 or older
• U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent resident
• Excellent physical condition
• Ability to complete a 13-week fire academy training program
• Ability to obtain Washington State Department of Social and Health Services certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Submission to a thorough background check and medical evaluation
• Ability to obtain a Washington State Driver License
