This role is pivotal to national security, contributing to the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program, which aims to replace the aging Minuteman III ICBM—a significant endeavor not undertaken in over half a century. The acquisition of the new ICBM weapon system integrates cutting-edge digital engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to fulfill current warfighter requirements while maintaining the adaptability to address evolving technologies and threats through 2075.

Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a seasoned Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer to join our Futures Division. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on the development and acquisition of Sentinel Advanced Planning projects, encompassing hardware development, experimental flight testing, advanced materials, and future technology integration for ICBM systems. You will work closely with the Program Manager to acquire and integrate new technologies for the next-generation ICBM, assisting the government in reviewing and assessing design documentation, architectures, and MBSE products to meet acquisition standards and timelines.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (10 years with a Master's degree).
- At least 6 years of progressive responsibility in a technical leadership role.
Preferred:
- Experience with ICBM maintenance, training systems, or operations.
- Knowledge of ICBM acquisitions.
- Professional Engineering License.
- Systems Engineering experience and/or certification.
- Project Management Professional Certification.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Earned Value Management, and Control Account Management.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Cameo, MATLAB, DOORS, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
