Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct care to residents/patients with ADL needs under the direction of a licensed registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established current CNA performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
  • Assist new peer employees in following established facility policies and procedures.
  • Identify resident/patient problems and concerns and report them immediately to the registered nurse.
  • Conduct resident/patient rounds as assigned.
  • Identify safety hazards and initiate immediate corrective actions and report same to the RN.
  • Attend all in-service or outside classes as assigned and completes assignments cheerfully and with a positive work attitude.
  • Document incidents and/or unusual problems according to established facility policy/procedures.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team and other facility meetings as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Completion of course for Certified Nursing Assistants.
  • Basic Computer knowledge.
  • CPR certified preferred.
