Lead Software Engineer - User Terminal

We seek an experienced and visionary software leader to oversee the development of high-quality software for our satellite-based internet service's user terminal. You will design, architect, and implement reliable, secure, and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop highly reliable software for the user terminal.
  2. Drive software architecture, implementation, verification, deployment, and field support.
  3. Recruit, manage, and lead high-performing software engineering teams.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware architecture, specification, and productization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of C++ and Object-Oriented Design expertise.
  • 7+ years of experience leading technical teams and projects.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects and systems that push the envelope.
  • Experience with low-cost consumer electronics devices and system-on-chip solutions.
  • Expertise in high-performance, low-latency, and secure software development.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
