Satellite Broadband Software Engineer

Project Kuiper's Low Earth Orbit satellites will revolutionize global internet access. As a Software Development Engineer, you'll play a vital role in securing this initiative. Your focus will be on building services for our public key infrastructure, including firmware signing and secure device provisioning. You'll work closely with our team to drive the development, deployment, and operation of mission-critical security systems for the Kuiper constellation and customer terminals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software for secure communications and strong authentication
- Build services around public key infrastructure, certificate management, and identity management
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the security and confidentiality of our customers' data
Requirements:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Export control requirements: U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
