Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Arcadia Retirement Residence. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all food service equipment, work surfaces, utensils, and work areas according to our cleaning schedule and infection control policies.
  • Maintain equipment temperature logs and assist cooks with meal preparation as needed.
  • Set up and break down employee meals, and segregate, sort, and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
  • Maintain inventory of chemicals and exercise caution and good safety judgment in uncertain conditions or situations.
  • Perform duties for emergency drills and situations, and interact with residents and co-workers with patience, understanding, and kindness.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn as needed.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
