Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandise Sales Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Creating an exciting, positive, and engaging environment for our diverse team and fan base.
  • Welcoming guests and identifying their interests to make informed sales recommendations.
  • Maintaining high accuracy while operating POS systems.
  • Taking ownership of cleaning, restocking, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
  • Presenting merchandise effectively to enhance sales with complementary items.
  • Describing merchandise features, benefits, and usage clearly.
  • Staying informed about promotions, sales, and events.
  • Managing inventory, merchandise placement, and conducting accurate counts.
  • Continuously increasing knowledge of products, facilities, and events.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.
  • Reading and implementing plan-o-grams effectively.
  • Assisting with the merchandising of event gift shops, including plan-o-grams, inventory control, and cleaning.
  • Having merchandising skills is a plus.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrating honesty and integrity in all actions and communications.
  • Being receptive to constructive feedback and making necessary adjustments.
  • Exhibiting excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during events.
  • Availability to work weekends and overtime as required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Accuracy in opening and closing procedures.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Being innovative and a self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for 35-40+ hours weekly.
  • Flexibility in duties and responsibilities as needed.
