About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Propulsion Engineer to join our team at Nammo Defense Systems, Inc. As a key member of our Program Team, you will be responsible for supporting Advanced Propulsion (AP) programs at our Mesa facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the program team, executing day-to-day program activities with engineering oversight.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, conducting assembly and component analysis to support design.
  • Support bid and proposal preparation, including scope of work, technical volume, schedules, and budgets.
  • Interface with cross-functional program team members to resolve technical issues and participate in Change Review Board meetings.
  • Support Product-Specific and Standard Process Hazards Analyses to ensure a safe operating environment.
Requirements
  • BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field.
  • 5-12 years of engineering experience, with Aerospace/Defense industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of closed form and finite element analysis, solid modeling, and detail drawing creation.
  • Team collaboration and ability to obtain approval through ATF to handle Nammo products and information.
