About the Role

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team in a Weekend Day Shift role. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload materials using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
  • Packaging and Routing: Ensure accurate and timely packaging, routing, and systems work to meet customer demands.
  • Lean Warehousing: Participate in and guide team members in implementing Lean warehousing principles to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Task Completion: Complete tasks by following established procedures and ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on material handling and logistics.
  • Skills: Ability to operate material handling equipment, use a handheld scanner, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Lifting and Bending: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and greater than 75 lbs occasionally, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
