Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing skilled trades personnel to ensure the seamless operation of production processes. This role involves supporting automation and control systems within manufacturing, as well as planning project operations and setting priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage activities in alignment with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) standards.
- Oversee the implementation and training of the plant's Total Maintenance System (TMS) alongside Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and plant schedules.
- Availability for any shift is required.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial automation, including project management.
- Willingness to work any shift and overtime as necessary.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities to interact with employees across all levels, from hourly workers to senior management.
- Capability to foster effective business relationships with plant leadership and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Goal-oriented self-starter with leadership capabilities.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing skilled trades employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
- Background in leading maintenance teams within a unionized environment.
- Green Belt, Red X, or Six Sigma certification.
- Familiarity with controls, robotics, drives, communication systems, sealing systems, glass cell systems, various conveyance systems, welding techniques, painting processes, and vision systems.
- Understanding of World Class Manufacturing pillar methodologies and their implementation.
- Competence in Google Suite software applications.
- High School Diploma or GED.
