We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Professional to join our team at Murfreesboro City Schools. As an Early Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and education to young children.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the lead teacher to create a safe and engaging environment that promotes learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
- Monitor children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to children
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and needs
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education
- Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education qualification desirable
- Experience working with young children in a childcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including standing, lifting, and bending
Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
