Job Summary

The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for managing store operations, including supervising staff, ensuring merchandise quality, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage store operations, including supervising staff, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve customer retention, and enhance store profitability
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve company goals, share best practices, and provide support
  • Conduct performance appraisals, provide coaching and development opportunities, and address performance issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate records, including production, shrink, sales, and inventory reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Develop and implement product knowledge training programs for staff
  • Assist in effectively ordering and maintaining inventory control to maximize sales and limit shrink issues
  • Use company tools, such as MPP, financial reports, scheduling, ordering, and business information systems
  • Support the development needs of assigned department associates
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Experience with inventory control, merchandising, and visual merchandising
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent preferred
  • Certified Food Safety Manager certification or ability to achieve within 90 days of employment
