Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in maternal-child health nursing and possess a strong background in lactation management. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to staff members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in managing complex breastfeeding cases. Additionally, you will contribute to program development activities and ensure that our lactation services align with the highest standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess practice gaps and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Education Market Director to review outcomes data and refine educational content
  • Promote adult educational theory and apply evaluation methodologies to enhance clinical programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing with current RN license in Texas or compact license
  • Minimum two years' experience in maternal-child health nursing in an acute care setting
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification within two years of hire
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • Neonate Resuscitation training within three months of hire
