The Community College of Baltimore County is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grants Development Coordinator to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of grant proposal management and writing, as well as excellent administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the development and submission of grant proposals to public federal and state government agencies, institutions, local government, or units of local government.
- Research and identify funding opportunities that align with the college's priorities and needs.
- Develop complex budgets and assemble grant requests that include narratives, partner letters, and attachments.
- Manage a portfolio of 20 to 25 major grants on an annual basis.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the college's priority areas and faculty program interests.
- Represent the department at community meetings and college functions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree and three years of recent experience in grant proposal management and writing.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
