About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac ICU/CVICU team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient care and make informed decisions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to empower them with knowledge and promote healthy behaviors.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent, full-time ICU RN experience.
  • Cardiac ICU and/or Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU specific RN experience preferred.
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
