Mercy Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Transport Nurse to join our team. As a Critical Care Transport Nurse, you will be responsible for providing emergency nursing care to patients transported via our Mercy Health Life Flight Network.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, organize, document, and evaluate patient care in conjunction with another Critical Care Transport Care provider.
- Act as a professional representative of Mercy Health to the community, as an educator to professional groups, to emergency medical services, and promote Mercy Health as a regional referral center.
- Assist in the provision of care to patients of all age groups (neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric).
- Work in a ground Mobile Intensive Care Unit base with a progression towards rotor wing flight cross-training if interested and openings are available.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Ohio.
- CAMTS approved advanced certification (CFRN, or CTRN) required or obtained within 18 months of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.
- TNCC and ITLS required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 6 months of hire.
- FEMA 100, 200, & 700 within 6 months of hire.
- Emergency Vehicle Operations Certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Michigan Registered Nurse license (required for Wauseon Flight Base).
- EMT or Paramedic Certification (required for Wauseon Flight Base).
- Michigan EMT or Paramedic Certification (required for Wauseon Flight Base).
