Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - OR - Operating Room Staff

University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Staff Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) - OR - Operating Room Staff will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Florida Registered Nurse License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
