As a Head of Engineering Leadership, you will lead the effort to build out customer acquisition experiences and back-end services supporting the credit decision microservices. These systems must be highly resilient and stable, ensuring 99.99% uptime requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute technical product strategies for client initiatives.
  • Lead engineering teams focused on developing highly resilient applications.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations and reports.
  • Align product development efforts with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Leverage agile methodologies to ensure high-quality, on-time product delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner, with the ability to lead and run Scrum teams.
  • A strong technical understanding, including software engineering, platform design, and/or solutions architecture background.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging internal and external teams/stakeholders.
  • Experience working with GoLang-based applications is a plus.
  • Adept at managing beyond initial project scope in matrixed environments.
  • Excellent presentation skills for conveying complex concepts to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile product management/ownership.
  • Experience working on cloud-based platforms, ideally with a focus on AWS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for tackling large-scale technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading technical projects with scalability and performance optimization.
  • A collaborative mindset for thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions aligning with business objectives.

This position requires two days of onsite work in Chicago, IL or McLean, VA.
