We are seeking a highly experienced Legal Head/Manager to join our team, specializing in Business IT Staffing and the Government Sector . The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, oversee compliance, and manage contracts related to IT consulting and government operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the legal department, overseeing legal operations and initiatives related to business IT staffing and government sector contracts .
Mentor and guide a team of legal professionals, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Provide legal counsel on IT staffing contracts, compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution .
Oversee all government contracts , ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents , aligning with company policies and standards.
Represent the company in business litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters .
Advise internal stakeholders on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment .
Qualifications:
JD (Juris Doctor) or equivalent law degree ; must be admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in a leadership role , preferably within IT consulting and government sectors .
Strong experience in IT staffing legal matters and government contracts , with in-depth knowledge of compliance, regulations, and procurement laws.
Proven expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and review .
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred candidate based in Virginia or Maryland area .
