Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at HEI Hotels & Resorts. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, associates, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel complex to identify potential security risks and take proactive measures to prevent incidents.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, and suspicious activity, in a calm and professional manner.
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect any unusual activity and report incidents to the supervisor on duty.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and secure operation.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in security and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
