Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, associates, and vendors. This includes performing protective, preventative, and safety-related enforcement functions, as well as implementing and monitoring standard operating procedures (SOPs) and our Mission, Vision, and Values.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel complex to identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires or safety hazards, in a calm and rational manner.
- Handle undesired conduct and potential violations of hotel policy in a courteous and restrained manner.
- Monitor security monitors for unusual activity and report directly to the supervisor on duty.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to lift and/or move goods weighing up to 150 pounds.
