Job Title: ABA Therapist - BCBA Certified

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Youth Opportunity Investments, LLC. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing care to youth in need and contributing to a top-notch team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the implementation of individualized mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation, assessment, and counseling to youth and their families under the direct clinical supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
  • Document the clinical course of treatment, including weekly progress notes, master treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, and aftercare/transition plans.
  • Develop youth behavioral health discharge plan and aftercare plan.
  • Assess the dynamics and functioning level of each family in case load and then formulate and implement intervention plan(s).
  • Collaborate with leadership and performance improvement activities by conducting periodic reviews to ensure compliance with YOI policy and agency requirements.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or in a related human services field.
  • Two years' experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse problems.
  • Sound understanding of group leadership, group dynamics, and experiential education.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
