About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist to coordinate and perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation safety, quality control, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring safe handling and disposal.
  • Conduct quality control tests, maintaining accurate records and reporting results.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Demonstrate adherence to CHRISTUS Health's CORE Values.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting required; 2 years preferred.
  • Current State Licensure and BLS required; Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Work Schedule: Varied
