Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceutical and medical imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and medical imaging equipment.
- Ensure adherence to standards for radiation safety and appropriate waste separation and disposal of radioactive agents.
- Document daily calibrations and flood films for all Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment, dose calibrator accuracy check, hot lab area survey, dispensed pharmaceuticals, and radioactive source disposal.
- Perform periodic quality control tests, documenting according to Hospital policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
- 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting required.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist registration from ARRT or NMTCB required.
