Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in Monongahela, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans, and providing direct speech and language therapy to students. They will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations.
  • Conduct screenings and provide consultations as needed.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on speech and language development.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Pennsylvania state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education certification for Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Knowledge of IDEA and state and federal regulations governing special education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
