Your primary responsibility will be to assist the nursing team in providing exceptional care, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct resident care, including activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting, and ambulating patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring resident safety and recovery.
  • Deliver resident nourishments, perform routine tests, and acquire and distribute supplies and equipment.
  • Listen to resident/family concerns, assume responsibility for follow-through, and provide feedback to the Director of Resident Care.
  • Document in the Nursing Assistant notes, comply with safety policies, and adhere to all policies and practices relative to resident care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of body mechanics and transfer techniques (preferred).
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • CPR certification (required).
  • Act 34, OAPSA clearances (required).
