At Multi-Color Corporation, we are seeking a skilled HP Digital Printing Press Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the HP Digital Press, ensuring high-quality production of digitally printed products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up jobs according to job tickets and product specification documents, including pre-flight checks and color adjustments.
- Complete job start-up and quality sign-off, including specification and visual checks.
- Operate the digital press to produce products in conformance with customer specifications, minimizing waste and maintaining press efficiency.
- Requisition all necessary supplies for the digital press and produce quality digital labels.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the press and related equipment, performing preventative maintenance and contracting with local HP Service professionals as needed.
- Ensure a safe working environment, following all safety guidelines and reporting any safety risks to the supervisor or safety team representative.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), required.
- Experience operating a digital press and/or minimum 2 years web and/or offset experience, required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal and external communications to perform job duties.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and computer prepress/preflight knowledge are preferred.
- Able to frequently stand and walk, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
